Written in 1989 and Recorded in September 1990.

The song is about Cocaine and the dangers of drugs on the streets of Hollywood.

Paul Shortino (Rough Cutt / Rough Riot) helped in pre-production for this song with the vocal melodies. Paul worked with Curt Lorraine (Lypswitch Manager) back when Curt worked for Niji Management and Dio. The two were always good friends and when the band needed some assistance, Paul would attend rehearsals (At Mates) and help as a writing/vocal consultant.

Razorblade Slide

Music and Lyrics by David Love
Written in 1989 recorded in 1990

Touch the sky hangin' from a wire
You can't get much higher
Fist through a wall no one to blame
Another victim of this Hollywood game
You play with nature when you go to bed
Your gonna wake up dead

Your movin' to fast blur to my eyes
Your playin' with death in disguise
Mirror gang run with the pack
Till it slaps you in the face like a heart attack

Your hearts tickin’ baby, tickin' like a time bomb
Your hearts tickin’ on a razorblade slide
Your hearts tickin’ baby, tickin' like a time bomb
You better come down cause your way to high

Here today, gone tomorrow
Washed away in your pool of sorrow
Fools gold, your mind is bent
Your nose is bleedin' can't you take a hint?
Thought you died and gone to heaven
But its to late, there ain't no room
for addicts at heavens gate

Your movin' to fast blur to my eyes
Your playin' with death in disguise
Mirror gang run with the pack
Till it slaps you in the face like a heart attack

Your hearts tickin’ baby, tickin' like a time bomb
Your hearts tickin‘ on a razorblade slide
Your hearts tickin’ baby, tickin' like a time bomb
You better come down your gonna die
